Ironlink Terms of Service
It's boring, but important. Let's dive into it
These Terms of Service (also referred to as the "Terms"), together with the Privacy Policy (also referred to as the "Privacy Policy"), govern the use of and access to the diverse services offered by Ironlink Technologies ("Ironlink", "us", "we", or "our"), our website (the "Site"), applications (including mobile and desktop versions) (the "Apps"), and all content (the "Content") and software (the "Software") associated with our services (collectively referred to as the "Services").

By consenting to these Terms, you are also consenting to our Privacy Policy.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ironlink, so please review them thoroughly.

Acceptance
In using and/or accessing the Services, you, on behalf of yourself or those you represent, (referred to as "you"), agree to adhere to and be legally bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy in their entirety. This includes responsibility for any charges incurred from your use of the Services.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of your employer or another entity, you affirm that: (i) you are duly authorised to bind your employer or such entity to this Agreement; (ii) you have fully understood the Agreement; and (iii) you consent to the Agreement on behalf of the entity you represent.

By creating an account to use our Services, you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or that you are a valid legal entity, and that your registration information is accurate and complete.

Certain sections of these Terms or the Privacy Policy may not apply to your specific use of the Services. If you do not agree with any part of the Agreement relevant to you, you should not use our Services.

For clarity, the Agreement governs your access to and use of the Services through any means or channels.
Modification
Ironlink may modify these Terms occasionally without prior notice. Unless otherwise stated, each update of the Terms becomes effective upon publication on the Site. Your continued use of the Services after such changes implies your consent to the revised Terms. The latest version of the Terms can always be found on the Site. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms to stay informed about current rules and obligations. We will notify Subscribers of any significant changes to the Terms via email, site banners, or pop-up messages.
Privacy Policy
Ironlink is dedicated to your privacy and does not collect or log browsing history, traffic data or DNS queries linked to users when connected to our Services. During registration, we may collect personal information such as your email address, and payment details, solely as necessary for proper Service delivery and to comply with legal requirements or orders.

Please review the Privacy Policy in full to understand how we manage your information, your rights, our rights, and our commitment to data protection.
Subscriptions
Our Services are accessible upon registering an account ("Account") on the Site or the Apps. By subscribing, you agree to become a subscriber ("Subscriber") for your chosen period. Subscription plans and pricing are detailed on the Site. Ironlink reserves the right to change subscription fees or introduce new fees, with reasonable advance notice on the Site, your Account, or via email. Pricing changes will not affect the current subscription period and will apply upon subscription renewal. Subscription purchases and refunds are processed through third-party payment companies. For details on these companies and data processing, refer to our Privacy Policy.
Supported payment methods may enable automatic plan renewal. The renewal term matches the original subscription duration. The fee will be charged to the payment method you last used. To opt out of automatic renewal, you may do so via your Account or by contacting us at support@ironlink.app.

Each paid subscription allows use of our VPN Service for a specified number of devices. To use the Services on more devices, you can (i) purchase additional subscription plans, or (iii) acquire extra licences by contacting our support team via support@ironlink.app.

You are responsible for keeping your Account information secure. Any unauthorised account access or compromised credentials should be reported to us immediately.
Top-ups, credit and withdrawal policy
When a customer adds funds to their Ironlink account (referred to as “credit”, "top-up" or “balance”), these funds are converted into and represented as Ironlink credit(s). It is important to note that Ironlink credit is not to be considered as a direct holding of financial assets, nor should they be equated with traditional currency, financial deposits or any form of financial investment. The value assigned to Ironlink credit is determined solely by Ironlink and may not correspond to the nominal value of traditional currencies.

Customers may request to withdraw their Ironlink Points, which will be processed back into a currency value at Ironlink's discretion. Ironlink reserves the right to evaluate and determine the validity of any withdrawal request, apply an exchange rate, which may differ from market rates as well as impose fees or charges associated with the processing of such withdrawals. The withdrawal process, including the exchange rate and applicable fees, will be conducted in accordance with Ironlink's operational policies and may vary based on factors deemed relevant by Ironlink.

Customers should be aware that the conversion of Ironlink credit to currency may result in a return value that is different from the initial top-up credit amount due to these factors. Ironlink is not responsible for any perceived loss in value or discrepancies arising from the conversion process.
Refund Policy
You have the right to cancel your Account for any reason within thirty (30) calendar days of your initial purchase for a full refund (“Money Back Guarantee”).
Refunds beyond the 30-day window may be considered, at Ironlink's sole discretion, if a Subscriber can show that the Services were unavailable or unusable during the subscription period and that reasonable efforts were made to contact Ironlink to resolve the issue. In such cases, Ironlink may issue a pro-rata refund for the period the Service was unavailable or unusable.

Refunds are typically processed within seven (7) days, using the original payment method if possible or via crypto payments. All refunds are issued in USD or USDT equivalents, which may result in a different amount due to exchange rates and processing charges related to your payment method.

Changes to the original purchase, like upgrading to an extended billing term or buying additional licences, void the Money Back Guarantee. To request a refund under the Money Back Guarantee, email your request to support@ironlink.app.
Acceptable Use Policy
Our Services are accessible globally, and you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with laws and regulations in the country where your VPN endpoint is located. Access may be restricted in countries where using, accessing, or subscribing to our Services violates our Export Control Policy.
Your use of the Services must adhere to these Terms, as well as applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Ironlink strives to provide excellent service to all Subscribers. Therefore, you must not misuse our Content or Services. Misuse includes any use, access, or interference with the Content or Services contrary to these Terms or applicable laws and regulations.

Ironlink reserves the right to take necessary actions if the Services are misused or used to cause harm, including restricting access, terminating Accounts, or taking legal actions, without refunding for services already paid, if we believe, at our sole discretion, that you have misused the Services.

When using our Services, you agree not to:
  • Send or transmit unsolicited advertisements or content (“spam”) over the Services.
  • Send, post, or transmit content that is illegal, hateful, threatening, insulting, defamatory; infringes on intellectual property; invades privacy; or incites violence or unlawful behaviour.
  • Upload, download, post, reproduce, or distribute content violating copyright or other proprietary rights without permission from the rights owner.
  • Upload, download, post, reproduce, or distribute content featuring sexual or explicit depictions of minors, or similarly restricted/prohibited content.
  • Engage in conduct that inhibits other Subscribers from using the Services.
  • Attempt unauthorised access, probing, or hacking of computing devices.
  • Compile, use, or distribute a list of IP addresses operated by Ironlink in conjunction with the Services.
  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes.
Licence
Under these Terms, Ironlink grants you a global, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, fully revocable, and limited licence to download and use the Services. Unauthorised modification, distribution, reverse engineering, or other uses of the Services not expressly permitted by Ironlink in these Terms are strictly forbidden.

Using any material subject to Ironlink's intellectual property rights is prohibited unless you have received explicit written consent from Ironlink. Nothing in these Terms or related to the Services should be interpreted as granting, implicitly or otherwise, any licence or rights to Ironlink's intellectual property.
This is seriously getting so long, but don't give up!
Content, Language, and Social Interactions
All our Content is originally written in English. Translations of our Content are provided on a best-effort basis, and accuracy is not guaranteed.

Occasionally, we may post Content about our Services or other relevant topics on our Site, social media, discussion forums, blogs, or other electronic channels. Subscribers and non-subscribers may share their opinions on such Content and interact with each other. You are solely responsible for all information, content, opinions, or materials you post on these channels. Ironlink is not obliged to monitor these discussions but may do so at our discretion, and may remove any content therein. Ironlink disclaims all liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, regarding information, content, opinions, or materials posted on these channels by Subscribers or non-subscribers.
Third-Party Websites
Ironlink may provide content from third parties or links to third-party websites. Ironlink is not responsible for the availability of third-party content, as these are beyond our control or supervision, and may have different terms of use and policies. Accessing third-party websites through our Services does not imply any relationship between Ironlink and such third parties.
Partner Services
Ironlink may occasionally offer access to or promotions for services, applications, or websites of partners (“Partner Services”) as an additional benefit. These Partner Services are not integrated with our Services, and your interactions with any Partner Services are governed by their respective terms. Ironlink does not share your personal information with any Partner Services providers.

Ironlink makes no guarantees and is not liable for the behaviour, features, or content of Partner Services, nor for any transactions with their providers. Ironlink does not warrant the compatibility of the Services with Partner Services. Use of Partner Services is at your own risk and discretion, and any issues arising from their use should be resolved directly with the provider.
Disclaimers
We aim to prevent interruptions to the Site or Services, which are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of materials or information provided, and disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Access to the Site and/or Services is at your sole risk and discretion.
Service coverage, speeds, server locations, and quality may vary. Ironlink will endeavour to make the Services available at all times. However, Services may be unavailable due to factors beyond our control, including emergencies, third-party service failures, network issues, or signal strength. We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected data or messages due to service interruptions. We may limit, suspend, or terminate Services or Accounts at our discretion to protect Ironlink, Subscribers, or the Services. The accuracy and timeliness of data received are not guaranteed.

Ironlink reserves the right to investigate potential violations of these Terms. We may, at our discretion and without notice, take actions including removing or restricting materials or information deemed as violations, and may terminate Accounts or take legal action. Ironlink disclaims liability for failing to prevent such materials or information from being transmitted over the Services.
Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Ironlink shall not be liable and is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any Subscriber or individual due to:
  • Any failure or interruption of the Services;
  • Acts or omissions of third parties involved in making the Services or data available to you;
  • Any other causes related to your access or inability to access or use any part of the Site or its Content;
  • Your interactions on the Services, chats or discussion forums provided by Ironlink;
  • Your non-compliance with the Agreement;
  • The cost of procurement of substitute goods or services; or
  • Unauthorised access or alteration of your transmissions or data, regardless of whether such circumstances were within Ironlink's or any third-party vendor's control.

Ironlink, along with its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, members, officers, or employees, will not be liable for any direct, special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or any other losses, even if advised of their possibility. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ironlink, its officers, directors, employees, members, partners, agents, and suppliers, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, members, shareholders, partners, and agents, from any claims and expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the Services or violation of the Agreement. Ironlink may, at its discretion, assume the defence and control of any matter requiring your indemnification. This assumption does not relieve you of your indemnity obligations.
Chargebacks
Ironlink reserves the right to suspend access to the Services immediately, without prior notice, upon receiving notice of a Chargeback. Initiating a Chargeback (rejecting, cancelling, or contesting a charge related to the Services) is considered a breach of your payment obligations. Ironlink may dispute any Chargeback associated with your Account and may delete your Account and restrict future access to our Services if we believe a Chargeback was maliciously requested.
Choice of Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict of law rules.
Dispute Resolution
By accepting these Terms and/or using the Services, you irrevocably agree that disputes arising from this Agreement or the use of the Services will be settled by the applicable courts located in Germany.
Assignment
In the event of Ironlink's acquisition or merger with a third-party entity, Ironlink may assign the Agreement and its rights and obligations to the new entity without prior notice. This Agreement's rights and obligations will bind and benefit successors and permitted assigns. Any assignment not in accordance with this Agreement is null and void.
Final Provisions
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be construed consistent with applicable law to reflect the intended provision, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect. The failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision, or a waiver of any subsequent breach or default.
Gosh. Did you really read all the way to the end? Well done!
We hope none of the legalese will ever be needed. The world would be a great place if so.
